Ron Gonzalez, MS BSN
Chief Executive Officer

Soon after starting my career as a nurse, in 1996, I became hyper-focused on optimizing patient outcomes. Leaning on my nursing education, which taught the foundational approach to problem solving, I isolated several unique areas where improvements could lead to enhanced patient outcomes and experiences.

And, that's how it starts, right?  A desire to make something better.  So, to fill a sizable void in healthcare hiring of credential verification, I started a technology company in 2004, that led to a successful exit in 2015.

I’m passionate about technology and data, and how it enhances healthcare delivery. And, I currently see huge potential in leveraging real-time information for practitioners to improve patient care and outcomes.

What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
That’s a great question. I guess you would have to ask my former employees.
When you show employees that they’re valued and are major contributors to your success, they work even harder towards the mission and growth of the company.

I feel like I'm successful in helping my employees succeed, by believing in them and their skills, and motivating them.

What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?
I believe it's safe to say that all client problems are not the same. First we analyze the problem, then create different solutions, evaluate those, then pick the best ones.

I know it sounds simple, but it works.

Clients appreciate a consultative approach, and it creates stickiness. I would say the top 2 problems we help with are improving market share and reducing personnel costs.

What are you complimented on most in your work?
Most compliment on the innovative approach I take to business. If we do the same thing everyone else does, we would probably get the same results.
Thinking differently helps you create alternative approaches to markets, that help you tag along to existing products and/or businesses.

Rich Benvenuto
Chief Relationship Officer

After graduating from Drexel University with a dual degree in Finance & Accounting, I worked for a large, International Public Accounting Firm for a couple of years and received a great education in the basics of business.  For the majority of the next 8 years I worked as a derivative trader, learning about crowd psychology and business valuation.  Like many others, the events of September 11, 2001 had a profound impact on me and left me ready for a change.

So, I left New York City and transitioned into a management position to begin learning the healthcare staffing industry.  In 2006 I started Rich Healthcare Solutions.  We put our people (employees and customers) first and everything else followed.  In 2012, the company was bought by one of the largest players in the healthcare staffing industry.  I believe in everyone's potential - employees, co-workers, and friends - and enjoy encouraging them to achieve their best.
Doing the right thing always pays dividends.

What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
I was able to grow a company from one person into a much larger organization where others not only saw the value in what we had created, but also shared a similar vision of its future.  That was truly rewarding to me.
We never wanted to be the biggest, we just wanted to be the best. And, I truly believe that we accomplished what we set out to do.
What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?
Clients are very good at identifying their problems, but usually need help finding a solution. By listening to our clients, we can identify what they need. Finally, we find a way to get them what they need. However, we never try to sell them something they don't need or something that does not solve their problem.

What are you complimented on most in your work?
Having integrity...which I define as never allowing your moral compass to waiver. The more you continue to do the right thing, the more your employees and clients notice. They are not used to people always behaving in the same way and it has a huge impact on them. It is a personality trait that seems to be getting more rare as time goes by.
Finding team members ready to join the mission is paramount to the forward trajectory of an organization.

Build the best core, the best reputation for the company, do the right thing and the rest will follow.

Leslie Jeffries
VP of Operations

Leslie Jeffries is a registered nurse of 23 years, most recently employed by Relias, as the Director of Clinical Solutions, where she led an operations team responsible for development of assessment-driven personalized learning for physicians and nurses.  The content created for this learning focused on high risk, high variation topics frequently associated with malpractice claims for healthcare providers.  Prior to Relias, Leslie provided oversight in the creation and delivery of content-valid, pre-employment assessments for the healthcare staffing and hospital industries at Prophecy Healthcare.  Expertise with Joint Commission HCSS certification standards has allowed Leslie to work in a consultative capacity with many marquis staffing companies across the U.S. focusing on compliance and certification with regulatory requirements.

Her work in these fields is highlighted through various publications, conference presentations, and white papers on these topics.  Clinical acumen accompanied by business intelligence and knowledge of informatics has contributed to much of Leslie's success in her professional career.

Leslie believes in giving back to her community and profession of nursing.  She currently serves as a volunteer to the nominating committee of the Kentucky Nurses Association, PTA president at her children's elementary school, little league basketball coach to young female athletes, and pianist for a small, rural church in south central Kentucky.

Her hard work goes to support the operations of a family-owned registered Black Angus cattle ranch, where no steak is ever cooked past medium-rare.
